Day 21
As the days count down, I can’t help but think about how far I’ve come; how far we’ve come. Within that thought is the realization that I’ve encountered some Universal backlash during this process…so I want to talk about it.
This spiritual/ healing journey is very intense work so I want to commend you on how far you’ve come. When you start to harness your energy and focus it inward, you will become fascinated with how much pain you made productive. With the help of mindfulness, prayer, and meditation, you were able to take what could’ve taken you out and turned it into a journey of self discovery. You are alchemizing your pain and it looks darn good on you sugar dumpling.
People who do not have the courage to heal themselves may try to throw jabs at your journey or tell you how imperfect you are. That’s cool. They don’t even have the courage to face themselves so they’ll point out an area that you may still be working and shame your for it. How do we handle these people? We don’t. We simply clock their energy, send a prayer or a positive mantra their way, and remove ourselves from the situation/environment. It is important that you protect your own energy!
We are self healers. It’s a journey. We are never complete and I want you to remember that when opposition comes your way. Just because you fall short at some point or act out in a way that resembles your past self, doesn’t mean that all of your healing is in vain. Don’t let the enemy (inner me) deceive you into thinking that you are less than, due to your human flaws.
The truth is family, nobody is perfect. We say that all the time but do we really believe it? The people that like to throw your “healing journey” in your face, they too, are imperfect. Perhaps they even fear their imperfections. Perhaps they fear what’s on the inside of them. Perhaps they are debilitated by self doubt and the only way to make themselves feel better about where they are, is to shame you, belittle your process or kick you when you’re down; that's what bullies do! You and I, family, we are not better than the bully. We are simply more courageous and evolved. Let sitting water stink while you flow your way into purpose.
This is how you deal with a hater... you don’t. I love you family and if you haven’t heard it in a while, you are brave, you are courageous, you are smart, you are resourceful, you are tenacious, your are diligent, you haven’t given up, and therefore, you are a ROCKSTAR ! I leave you with this affirmation by Marianne Williamson.
A Poem: Our Deepest Fear
By: Marianne Williamson
Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light, not our darkness That most frightens us.
We ask ourselves Who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented, fabulous? Actually, who are you not to be? You are a child of God.
Your playing small Does not serve the world. There's nothing enlightened about shrinking So that other people won't feel insecure around you.
We are all meant to shine, As children do. We were born to make manifest The glory of God that is within us.
It's not just in some of us; It's in everyone.
And as we let our own light shine, We unconsciously give other people permission to do the same. As we're liberated from our own fear, Our presence automatically liberates others.
